She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hisakichi Tanaka and Tsuru Tanaka; her former spouse Yukio 'Sam Kurahashi; her friends, Bernice, Marg, Irene, Reno, Spokane and Boston Pizza; her grandmothers, Toyoko, Toshiko and Anita; her husband Sam; her siblings, Genichi Tanaka (Fujiko), Hisayo Nishi (Keiji) and Masaru Tanaka (Yoko); and her siblings' children, Hajimu Tanaka (Kazuko), Chikashi Tanaka (Yuko), George Wada, Amy Wada, Victor Nishi (Lynda), Teresa McLaughlin (Sean), Wendy Ikesaka (David), Hiroshi Tanaka (Satomi), Miki Maeda (Tomo), Mina Bourel (Shane) and Stephen Kurahashi (Tracy).
