He is survived by: his wife Alma; his children, Don and Veronica Scarpino (Carmelo); and his stepchildren, Debra Harding (Dennis), Dale Gruber (Lorraine) and Dirk Gruber. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
