He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Eileen James; his children, Bernard Barton (Bridgette), Elizabeth Jones (Paul), Michael Barton (Barbara), Catherine Fraser (John), Richard Barton (Beth), Mary Ferguson (Mark) and Francis Barton (Erin); his brother Ron Barton; his nephews, Colin Barton (Christine) and Alan Barton (Sheila); and his father Pat Monette.
