Ted Ziajka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Ziajka in Kelowna, British Columbia, born in Coleman, Alberta, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Annie, Joseph and Helen; his grandson Callum Marcus Michael Ziajka; and his son-in-law Brian Wade Nelson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Ziajka and Josephine Virginia of Calgary; his wife Phyllis Spence Gray; his daughters, Sheelah Carlyn Ziajka of Istanbul, Turkey and Jennifer Sarah Nelson of Osoyoos, BC; his grandson Tariq Alexander Ziajka (Phyllis) of Istanbul; and his aunt Marj. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to make a donation is Ted's memory to JoeAnna's House in Kelowna where families are able to remain close to their loved ones during treatments and traumatic circumstances at Kelowna General Hospital.
