He was predeceased by: his parents, Artur Zabel and Irma Zabel. He is survived by: his siblings, Klaus and Karin; his sons, Roland and Bernhard; his wife Heidi; his sons, Ronald (Michelle), Bernie (Dawn) and Andreas (Lori); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Rachel, Nicole, Aaron and Jaden.
