With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Hale Matchett (Kelowna, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 75. In the vast expanse of eternity, Valerie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Valerie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh. She is survived by: her daughters, Annedrea and Jamie; her son-in-law Clayton; her grandsons, Trevor, Brody and Jack; her nephews, Jarrod and Clayton; and her niece Chelsea.
