Vic Sakala Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Vic Sakala (Kelowna, British Columbia) is shared. Vic passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Vic will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Vic by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Vic is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Vic’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vassili Sakala and Emmi Sakala. He is survived by: his significant other Beryl Amaron; his siblings, Asta LaBianca (Sten) and Elmar Sakala (Darilee); and his pets, Checha and Maggie.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish can give a donation in Vic's name to a local animal rescue organisation or any charity of their choice.
