With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet May (Smith) Crux-Amey in Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert "Bob" Donald Crux; her husband Joseph "Joe" Amey; her parents, Arthur Smith (Harriet Smith) and Harriet Smith; and her grandson Thomas Wayne Haluschak.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Tousley; her children, Robert Crux (Sharon), Beverley Haluschak (Cameron), Sharon Crux Rasi (Carlo) and Susan Wilkinson (Randall); her stepdaughter Marilyn Amey (Jacques Belleau); her grandchildren, Kimberly, Rob, Jenna, Susie, Aaron, Ben, Eden, Denver and Shannon; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Emily, Evelyn, Farrah, Callie, Hannah, Lucy, Daniel, Jackson, Jameson, Avery and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kelowna General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (http://www.kghfoundation.com), in gratitude for the care received for her great-grandson and two great-granddaughters.
