He was predeceased by: his son Michael Petrin; and his brothers, Angelo Petrin, Nereo Petrin and Miller Petrin. He is survived by: his girlfriend Rose Forster; his sons, Lorenzo Petrin and Paul Petrin (Tammy); his stepson Kurt Forster (Patti); and his siblings, Mario Petrin and Renata Romanzin.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evan J Strong Funeral Services (3625 12 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E6P4). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Queen's Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 PM at the same location.
