He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich and Anna; his former wife Eileen Epp; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Rose Ardies; his daughters, Colleen Penner (Steve), Tamara Knapp (Gil) and Tracey Rusnak (Zdeno); and his sisters, Irmgard Enns and Ellinor Fieguth. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
