Wendy Catherine (Hirtle) Olinger Obituary
We announce the death of Wendy Catherine (Hirtle) Olinger (Kelowna, British Columbia), born in Kitimat, British Columbia. Wendy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her husband Phil Olinger; her children, Maya Drouin and Bryan; her grandchildren, Lexea, Kyenna, Harlow, Ajax, Destiny and Trinity; her children, Amari and Arnan; her grandchildren, Fiona, Milo, Farrah, London, Von and Blue; her stepchildren, Krista Olinger, Lee Olinger and Neil Olinger; and her brother Rick Hirtle (family: Gail Bengough).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y5V8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's SuperWalk (https://downtownkelowna.com), which Wendy started here in Kelowna.
