Wilbur Wightman Obituary

The passing of Wilbur Wightman in Kelowna, British Columbia, born in Westlock, Alberta leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his sister Evelyn Turner (Ed); and his parents, Harold Wightman and Mabel Wightman. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Wightman; his daughter Jamie Koepke (Dale); his son-in-law Bruce McLane (Vicki); his grandsons, Ryan (Shana), Jason, Matthew, Brandon and Mitchell (Bethany); his great grandchildren, Xylia, Xyenna, Charlotte, Aiden, Lucas, Weyland, Niall and Larke; his brother Gary Wightman (Barb); and his daughter Sherry McLane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wedgewood Kelowna Condominium (1045 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y5Y1).
