It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas John Thomson of Ladysmith, British Columbia, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marilyn Aasen (Dan) of Port Alberni and Melvin Thomson (Pat) of Parksville; his grandchildren, Nicole Greenham (Seth), Aaron Aasen (Krista), Danielle McCollister (Chris) and Stephanie Thomson; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Isaac Greenham, Leif, Finn Aasen, Ezra and Levi McCollister; his brother Ken Thomson; and his parents, John Thomson and Mary Thomson.
