Franklin Smith Obituary

We bid farewell to Franklin Smith (Ladysmith, British Columbia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 11, 2025 at the age of 69. Franklin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Olive; his sister-in-law Naydene; and his niece Mary. He is survived by: his wife Zorka; his siblings, Marg (Tom) and Mick (Shelagh); his siblings' children, Michael, Michelle, Pauline and Denise; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaleb, Dylan, Chase, Emma, Gaby, Charlotte and MJ.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nanaimo Curling Club (106 Wall St, Nanaimo, BC V9R1Z7).
