She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McLachlan and Sarah McLachlan; her siblings, Helen Benvin and Jimmy McLachlan; her sister-in-law Kath McLachlan; and her nephew Brian McGarry.

She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" McGarry; her children, David McGarry (Darlene) and Elaine Wilkinson (Derek); her siblings, Charles "Charlie" McLachlan (late Kath) and Elizabeth "Liz" Gordon (Fred); and her siblings-in-law, Armido Benvin (late Helen) and Mary McLachlan (late Jimmy). She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
