She is survived by: her sister Coleen LaFosse; her daughter Pahno (Pete); her granddaughter Margeaux Pahno; her son Brad Isler (Bo Young); her husband Mervyn; her siblings, Jon (Jean) and Patricia (Pat); her daughter Micaela (Pete); her grandsons, Johnathan and Jackson; Tara (Craig), Adam (Nicole), Clark (Dawn), Kyle, Ryan, Malia, Parker and Charlotte.

“So very saddened to learn that Marilyn has passed away. After COVID, I thought that it was time for Marilyn and Merv, Don and me to get together. Just a little later, we learned that Marilyn had passed away. Marilyn was always positive and enjoyed life. We met through tennis and enjoyed the times we played and spent together. After COVID, I began to play golf with friends. I enjoy playing golf, but prefer tennis. - more physical activity and development of strength - god forbid! After Marilyn passed away, Don met Merv and we were delighted to invite him over one evening. We will do that again. Like Marilyn, we have close family who live in the USA A son, wife and 6 year old twin boys. Wish we lived so much closer. I have very happy and pleasant memories of times we spent with Marilyn and Merv. My sincere condolences to Merv and Marilyn’s family. Best wishes and fond memories. Glayne and Don.”

“.Merv, Miki and Brad, I have known Marilyn since 1982 when she taught me how to play tennis in Alabama. We followed each other through the years, living in Burke VA where our kids played together. I visited her in Charleston SC and then in Calgary. We spent quite a few long weekends together in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I have always considered her one of my closest friends. We lost touch in the last few years but I know she was happy with you Merv in Canada. Remembering her with much love.”
