Matthew Brock Suddaby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Brock Suddaby (Ladysmith, British Columbia), born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Matthew farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Matthew is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Suddaby; and his grandmother Hazel Suddaby. He is survived by: his wife Taylor; his mother Vicki; his siblings, Chris and Crystal (Tim); and his siblings' children, Tyson, Austin, Carson, Madison, Summer and Layla. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cedar Community Hall (2388 Cedar Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9X1K3).
