In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Herb leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Herb may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Gailene (Nelson); and his parents, Oscar Branting and Edit Branting of Lake Cowichan. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Lamb (Jim) of Lake Cowichan and Lisa Verwolf (John) of Victoria; his grandchildren, Trevor Verwolf (Diandra) of Victoria, Carla Richards (Adam) of Stafford England and Toby Lamb of Lake Cowichan; and his great grandchildren, Anders, Beckett Verwolf of Victoria, Lucas, Vincent and Charlotte Richards of England.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lake Cowichan Seniors Association (55 Coronation St, Lake Cowichan, BC V0R2G0).
