He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil E Hutchinson and Grace W. Hutchinson; his sister Jacqueline Larsen; and his former wife Doreen. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Fran; and his son Gary (Jennifer).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Parish (20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC V3A4G5). A burial was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gardens of Gethsemani (15800 - 32nd Ave., Surrey, BC).
