It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Maw (Langley, British Columbia), who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Maw to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Oliver Maw; and her children, Arthur Maw and Harmeny Daniel. She is survived by: her children, Earl C. Earl, Patrick Maw, Thorinn Oakunsheyld (Susan), Colleen Hansen (Peter) and Jann Hall (Randy). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
The family has requested that donations be made to Kuwasha International Development Society (Uganda) in lieu of flowers.
