Karen Mary Mortimer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Mary Mortimer (Langley, British Columbia), who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Karen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Arnold and June Arnold. She is survived by: her husband James Mortimer; her children, Kevin Mortimer (Misti) and Maegan Gendemann (Mason); her stepdaughters, Nicole Lovett (Rob) and Kathy Coghlan (Bill); her grandchildren, Arianna, Parker, Lucas and Izzy; and her stepgrandson Shayden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Derby Reach Regional Park.
