He was predeceased by: his father Joginder Darbara Singh Gill (Shergill). He is survived by: his mother Jarnail Kaur Gill; his wife Manjit Gill; his children, Karen (Bob) and Gary (Maninder); and his grandchildren, Manisha (Amolic), Justin, Rhea, Jaya and Gavin.
