It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richmond Arthur Deck of Langley, British Columbia, born in Brooksby, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Winnifred. He is survived by: his siblings, Alice, Henry, Emma, Catherine (Lucy), Syd and Frank; his spouse Jean Taylor of Ridgedale; and his children, Brookby, Alan (Janet), Catherine (Wess) and Brian. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (20955 Old Yale Rd, Langley, BC V3A7P8). He was curling with the club when he was 99, stopping only when Covid prevented it.
