We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2018, at the age of 68, Brian Whalen (Mackenzie, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Greta Whalen and Mike Whalen; his wife Sally Simon; and his grandchildren, Isabel Gaudet and Albert Gaudet.

He is survived by : his children, Mary-Ann Whalen of Paddle Prairie, AB, Andrew Montgomerie-Whalen of Edmonton, AB and Eldon Whalen of Hazelton, BC; his stepchildren, Tina Simon Spooner of Mackenzie, BC, Judi Simon of Prince George, BC and Don Simon of Quesnel, BC; and his brothers, Jerry Whalen of Matheson, ON and Michael of Matheson, ON. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
