He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Whitman and Amanda Whitman; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Marnie; his daughter Stacy; his son-in-law John Lillico; his grandchildren, Nathan and Kara; his sisters, Alice and Janet (Mark Mahoney) of New Maryland; his nephew Matthew (Melissa); and his niece Julie (Rich).
