He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Barry Ian Wayne McMillan; his wife Gay; his children, Kelly (Ken), Brian (Clare) and Michael (Jen); his brothers, Dean and Terry (Eileen); his grandsons, Jacob, Isaac, Oscar and Emmett; his parents, Don and Inga; and his brothers, Donald and Wayne.

Barry's last couple of years were difficult as he struggled with Parkinson's but, in true Barry fashion, he never complained once.
