He was predeceased by: his significant other Ole; and his former wife Shirley. He is survived by: his daughters, Lila (Larry), Leisa (Kevin), Diane (Kevin), Donna (late Bob), Pamela (Jesper) and Penelope (Greg); his stepchildren, Heather (Walt) and Greg (Michelle); and his sister-in-law Nicole. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Ridge Meadow Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated.
