He was predeceased by: his son Robert. He is survived by: his wife Marija; his daughters, Rosemarie (Mikel) and Ana Marija (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Zachary (Pascal), Kiersten (Dakota), Emma (Adrian), Robert and Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the McBride and District Hospital Auxiliary.
