She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Shackleton; and her sisters, Barbara and Betty. She is survived by: her sons, John (Mary-Kate) and David (Linda); her grandchildren, Stephanie and Trevor; her great grandchildren, Kayde, Bristen and Axton; and her friends, Isabel, Bernadette, Steven, Chad (Kassie), Bret (Stacy) and Bryn (Mitch).
