He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Schubert and Lydia Schubert; and his mother-in-law Barbara Rempel. He is survived by: his wife Connie Schubert (Rempel); his daughter Naomi Wicki (Paul); his grandchildren, Hannah and Sam; his daughter Amy Lindeman; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Abi and Aria; his son Dan Jr. Schubert (Anna-Lisa); his grandchildren, Moses, Molly, Izzy and Jet; and his siblings, Ruth Millard (Ross), Lois Pattison (Glen), Harold Schubert (Pat McCloy), Rod Schubert (Ann) and Debbie Miller (Ron).
