He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Buker and Doris Buker; his brothers, Robert (Marg), Dave (Marion) and Howie; his daughter Peggy; his granddaughter Jody McKimmon; and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Buker.

He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Les (Pat), Jill, Wendy Rieberger (Danny), Susan Dowding (Gord) and Barb McKimmon (Wes); his sibling's children, Cindy Goncalves (Fernando) and Darren McDonald (Michelle); his brother Warren Buker (April); his grandchildren, Addy Rudd (Dan), Scott McKimmon (Cas), Mitchell McKimmon (Sarah), Shane Rieberger (Cristal), Kevin Rieberger (Stephanie), Karla Rieberger, Adam Dowding (Lauren), Erin Sandford (Lawrence), Brent Dowding (Alison), Curtis Dowding (Brooklyn), Jordana Goncalves (Riley), Gage Goncalves, Aiden and Maddix McDonald; and his sisters-in-law, Thelma McDonald and Mary McDonald. He is also survived by his 18 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 32281 Lougheed Hwy., Mission, BC V2V1A3.
