He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram and Justina; and his brother Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Mignonne; his children, Kim (Wende), Kevin (Katrina) and Kalinda (Dragan); his brother Gerry; and his grandchildren, Mark, Katie, Ashton, Keyton and Shawn.
He promoted the Dale Carnegie school of thinking, loved Robert Service poems, and contributed to community through donation and volunteering (Salvation Army, Gleaners, Mennonite Disaster Services).
