He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen and George Sr. of Ville Émard; his sister Anne; and his in-laws, Trina and Harry Makis of LaSalle, Quebec..

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Stacey (Norm) and Shane; and his pets, Scribbles and Goober. He is also survived by his siblings, countless friends, and every neighborhood dog.
