With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matilda May Grant of Mission, British Columbia, born in Welland, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Adams and Maggie Adams; and her siblings, Margaret (Julien "Coobie" Adamcryck), Jean Hopkins (Alan), Shirley Veltri (Orlie), Ann Coles (Ron), Mary Cote (Gerry), Norene Jolin (Nap), Lillian Tonita (Chris), Elizabeth Adams, Frank Adams, John Adams (Lena), Sidney Adams (Barbara) and Arthur Adams.

She is survived by: her husband Angus Freeman Grant; her children, Diana Armstrong (Randy) and David Angus (Thérèse); her grandchildren, Debbie (Bryan), Carina (Phil), Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jamie Angus (Cam), David Adam and Laura May; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Blake, Jade Thi, Samantha Thi and Ethan Angus Freeman.
