He was predeceased by: his son Steven Weir-Wakely; his grandson Michael Wakely; his daughter-in-law Trish Wakely; his parents, Anne Passmore and Anton Wakely; and his brother Donald Worobo.
He is survived by: his wife Darliene Wakely; his children, Edward Weir-Wakely, Dena Wakely (Mark), Aaron Wakely (Pamela) and Adam Wakely (Jenny); his grandchildren, Andrew, Krista, Leanne, Sarah, Nathaniel, Jonathan, Mantis, Quinn, Tela and Shawn; and his daughter-in-law Annette. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that donations be made in Ron's memory to the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission or to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation, causes that were meaningful to him and his family.
