She was predeceased by: her husband Dick; and her son Rick. She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her daughter-in-law Shelly; her sisters, Mary and Jean; her nieces and nephews, Sherry, Judy, Donna, Gary and Steven; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle (Chelsea), Heather, Scott (Andrea) and Kevin (Emma); and her great grandchildren, Luke, James, Ezra, Emmett, Julian and Zoey.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a donation to the BCSPCA reflecting Shirley's love of animals.
