She was predeceased by: her mother Anne Connon; her sister Christine; her brother-in-law James Kazeil (Jim); and her father James Connon. She is survived by: her husband Robert Burns (Bob); her children, Matt (Colleen) of Calgary and Sadie (Dave Essig) of Nanaimo; her granddaughters, Claire and Eliza; her sister Aileen McMillan (Herb Metcalfe); and her nieces and nephews, Christine Williams, Shauna Kazeil, Barry Williams, Aaron (Amy) and Toby Kazeil (Ann Sullivan).
