He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Leone; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his grandson Ben; his wife Dolli Veenstra; his children, Jason, Nathan (Janelle), Suzi (Marcus) and Byron (Kelsey); and his grandchildren, Kate (CJ), Tobias, Anna, Lukas, Malia, Joel, Coral, Lyndon, Annika, Naomi, Jaxon and Isla.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1650 Waddington Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9S4W3).
