Clair Davies Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 6, 2026, at the age of 85, Clair Davies (Nanaimo, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Humphrey Davies of Dean's Honour List and Joan Davies of Wales; and his brother Lee (Ginny). He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his grandchildren, Shelby (Ben), Kiefer (Rachel), Cameron, Quinn, Nolan, Ava, Rhys Hunter and Marilla; his nephews, Rob (Liz), Andrew (Jenni), Sean (Stacy) and Chris (Dalyce); his cousins, Holly (Rick) and Lilian; his brother-in-law David (Lynne); Mark (Kristina), Owen (Wendy), Shauna (Ted), Roland (Adeline), Beau and Eleanor.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honour Clair's legacy of loving life, learning, and being in service to others by donating to any of his favourite organizations including St. Mary's Anglican Church (Nanoose Bay), the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, Tumaini Fund Canada, Vancouver Island University Foundation, the Chemainus Theatre Festival, or any charity in your local community that provides service to those in need.
