With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Larry Littlejohn (Nanaimo, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry David's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May David's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mayme Littlejohn (Farley) and Allan Littlejohn; his significant other Lily Bastian; his sister Mary Jane; his brother-in-law Gary Theal; his stepsons, Stanley and Michael Collie; and his cousins, Douglas McNeil and Carl Grimstead.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sands Funeral Chapel (1 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo, BC V9S4H6). During the Covid years he started collecting old oil lamps and painstakingly restoring them to shiny working order.
