She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Edna Smorong (Schindler) of Nanaimo, BC.; her brother Matthew Smorong of Victoria, BC; her aunts, Myrna Brown and Janice; her uncle Darrell Kinley; her friend Roo; her grandparents, Edwin, Ella Schindler, Robert and Nellie Smorong; her aunt Roberta; and her uncles, Clarence Magnusson and Vince Brown (Winnie).
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nanaimo Golf and Country Club (2800 Highland Blvd, Nanaimo, BC V9S3N8).
In lieu of flowers or donations, Dawn requests that you schedule a colonoscopy, and that you dedicate meaningful time with those you care about.
