Dean Fitzgerald Patrick Hall Obituary

Saying goodbye and grieving someone you love is life's most difficult journey.

Dean Fitzgerald Patrick Hall was born July 19, 1965 in Mission, British Columbia and passed away on July 9, 2020 at the age of 54 just 10 days before his 55th birthday. He left us peacefully at home surrounded by his loving dogs.

Dean started his career at TELUS sometime in the 1980's in Operator Services and worked his way up the corporation becoming a Director sometime in the early 2000's. His career at TELUS spanned over two decades. He inspired and encouraged many of his friends and colleagues to pursue career paths and was admired and respected by the many lives he touched. When Dean walked into a room his presence was larger than life and could capture an audience with ease, style and grace. Dean knew who he was and lived life on his own terms and let nothing or no one get in his way. He was very complex, freakishly strong, brave, smart, charming, quick witted, handsome, fiercely protective of those he loved and incredibly gifted (which was evident by all the heritage homes he renovated, designed and decorated with his beautiful antiques). Dean would enter an old house that most people would tear down, or run screaming from, but not Dean. He would see the vision…..then the magic would begin. There was nothing this man couldn't or wouldn't do.

Dean was born into a family the youngest of 8 children and had a difficult childhood having experienced trauma and abuse and as a result he suffered from PTSD. Dean fought every day to overcome the heartbreak and sadness and, despite everything he went through, accomplished SO much in his life and achieved everything he never had as a child. Now he is at peace with his beloved mother and the battle is over.

Dean will be terribly missed by his loved ones, friends, and the four little fur babies he cherished and loved so dearly.

Due to COVID there will be a celebration of life in the future and will be posted.
