With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Clarence Edward Saunders (Nanaimo, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Mark; his grandson Norman; his son-in-law Daryll; and his mother Rosalind. He is survived by: his wife Rosalind; his siblings, Bert, Eric, Tommy, Barb and Katie; his children, Michele, Derrick, Kevin (Karin) and Ryan (Ciana); his grandchildren, Amber, Myia, Marla, Alanis and Jordan; and his child Ernie.

In lieu of flowers Rosalind has requested donations to be made to BC Children's Hospital foundation.
