It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ferdinando Giovanni Luvisotto (Nanaimo, British Columbia), who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antinesca Luvisotto (Annie) and Domenico Luvisotto. He is survived by: his daughters, Carmella (Michael Baird) and Fernanda (Evan Creedon); his grandchildren, Sophia, Eanna and Francesca; his in-laws, Annie and Ted Miroslaw; his nieces, Janene, Carlin (Ted), Sevcov and Rovere; his friends, John, Donn Sherry, Roy Hughes and Ray Endrizzi; and his wife Doris. He is also survived by his parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC, BC Kidney Foundation, Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation or one's choice.
