George Douglas Ballantyne Obituary

In loving memory of George Douglas Ballantyne (Nanaimo, British Columbia), who departed this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 93. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey. He is survived by: his children, Shelley and Jack (Teresa); his grandchildren, Jeff, Adam (Julia) and Natasha (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Bodin, Porter and Bobbi.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Hall.
