Ian Niamath Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ian Niamath of Nanaimo, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ian Niamath to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his children, Ivan and Kira; and his brother Gordon. He is survived by: his brothers, Kent and Albert (Lidia); his sons, Nikko (Rebecca) and Tristan; his grandchildren, Madison, Liam, Kaleb and Jayme; his great grandchild Benjamin; his close friend Deborah Bissoondatt; Sarah.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nanaimo Seventh-Day Adventist Church (2400 Highland Blvd, Nanaimo, BC V9S3N7).
He was a member of the board of the Dragon Boat Festival and Foundation, and a member of the Multicultural Society.
