With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Francis Kingston in Nanaimo, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John Francis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Francis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Kingston and Patrick Kingston; and his sister Patsy Prince. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his daughter Charlotte (Whitney); his grandchildren, Astrid and Felix; and his siblings, Mark Kingston and Heather Murphy.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 1245 Resort Dr, Parksville, BC V9P2E5. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 15th 2026 at the Chatham Legion.
