With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Jenny Brown (Nanaimo, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Vinson and Evelyn Vinson. She is survived by: her brothers, Buck, Bob and Jim; her husband Dennis J. A. Brown; her daughters, Desiree E. Brown and Monica J. Brown; her grandchildren, Carlos Chacon Brown, Amanda Chacon Brown, Juliana Chacon Brown and Katrina R. Potter; her brother Rayme Vinson; and her sister-in-law Eleanor. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In recognition of the many years that she was affected by the autoimmune disease Rheumatoid Arthritis, and in lieu of flowers or other gestures of support, donations to the Arthritis Foundation (USA) or Arthritis Society of Canada can be made on her behalfCondolences from family and friends.
