He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley; his parents, Jack and Evelyn; his son-in-law Wayne; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Pollitt and Madeleine Sherry; and his parents-in-law, Margaret and John Cottle.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Glen), Ellen (Ken) and Gwendda; his grandchildren, Kyle (Nicole), Kody, Kaitlyn (Kelvin), Gregory and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Jordyn, Graesyn, Aubrey, Abigail, Amelia, Rein'a, Rayvenia and Bowden; and his siblings, John (Donna), Donn and Marie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and longtime friends.
