She was predeceased by: her husband Eric; her sister Shirley; and her parents, Esther and Howard. She is survived by: her children, Eric (Avaleen) of London Ontario, Christine of North Vancouver, BC, Pamela (R. Lynn) of Nanaimo, BC and Janice (Paul) of Nanaimo, BC; her grandchildren, Matthew (Rachel), Cainan (Shan), Isaac (Celine), Lauren (Nikesh), Bethany (Josh), Stuart (Jaime), Graeme (Katherine) and Derrick; her great grandchild Kai; and her sister Sandra.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sands Funeral Chapel (1 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo, BC V9S4H6).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Marilyn to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
